What is the pH of the urine? Is to too acidic or too alkaline for example?
A lot of what you do can depend on this. One things that is important to
help limit infection is to ensure plenty of fluids are passing through.
Mixing some warm water in with the food (making a sort of 'soup') can help.
Many people have found that switching to a natural foods diet helps
immensely. Some have commented that their 'leaky' dogs leak less when they
do not have any grains in their diet. You could consider a probiotic
supplement such as Acidophilus to help boost immunity. I am happy to provide
more info if you want.
