Dwarfism is a recessive gene in the Pyrs.For a long time many breeders didnt even admit to this, and they would put the dogs down.I have seen several of them and they dont look to much different just very small.This is one good incentive not to breed to close genetically or both the dogs could carry the gene, and that is when you get dwarfism.
