Massage?  Mine sure do!  And actually I find it relaxing to do.  Mine are
especially fond of having their feet ( er..paws ) done and working up
their legs into their shoulders.  They will sigh, relax totally, shut
their eyes, and look so content.
My little Shih-Tzu though seems to prefer it when you go up and down her
spine.  Maybe it does feel better for those breeds with longer backs?

As far as the stroking, face sides, and chests ( esp. those males ).  Fun
