[pyrnet] "Sitting Pyrs"

Hello All,

I just couldn't resist telling you all about how Bear sits. We have already
established that Bear is a funny child with his jumping on the trampoline
and sleeping with his feet on the walls and running in his sleep...well....

When he was smaller (@30-50 lbs.) I would tell him to come sit with Mommy.
He did. I would hold him in my lap in "Mommy's chair." As he has gotten
older (and much bigger - @88-93 lbs.) he still comes and sits with Mommy.
He backs up to me and puts his hind legs in my lap and leaves the front two
on the ground and turns his head around for me to love him.

Everyone that has seen him do this is just amazed at him coming when I call
for him to come sit with Mommy. Then when they see how he sits they all
just get tickled.

When Todd gets his evening treat, Bear knows he has to sit/lay before he
can have "his share" of it. Well, lately when Todd tells him to "sit" he
backs up, puts his hind legs on the sofa, and looks at Todd like, "Alright
Daddy, I'm sitting. GIMME MINE!" Todd tells him "you know what I mean" and
Bear will get up sit on the floor and then he will lie down and wait for
"his share"

Like I said, I just couldn't resist telling you all about how brilliant our
boy is! I tell everyone that he sits like a human because he doesn't know
he's not one.

Regards,

Bridget
