Hi -
It isn't really a "problem" in joining the GPCA; it is just that your sponsors
have to have known you for at least 1 year. In the past any GPCA member could
sponsor someone, even if they had never known that person and was only
offering to be a sponsor because someone else asked them to be. Or GPCA
members were sponsoring their puppy buyers as they were selling them a puppy -
sort of as a benefit of ownership. This now makes it hard for people who don't
live near, or know, GPCA members, to get sponsors.
