Janice, yes we in Texas do have our dogs done every year for all the
reasons you mentioned pertaining to the law.  Including having the
paperwork available.  I am simply saying that I question the procedure (
even though I abide by the laws of the state ), I do not believe it is
necessary, and I find the new studies that I mentioned earlier to be most
interesting in leu of the amount of vaccination done anywhere.  I do
think that dogs systems are suffering from over vaccinating in general. 
I am not advocating that everyone stops vaccinating, any more than I am
telling anyone when to spay/neuter.  I just think that taking the time to
learn about new studies is worthwhile for us all!  Cindy
