Yes, and that is part of what was being discussed earlier in terms of what
we were calling the "dwarf breeds".  This includes among others,
Dauchshunds, Bassetts, both Corgis, Tibetan Spaniels, Vallhunds and a
legion of other long bodied, short legged breeds.  All deliberate dwarfs.
Most without major physical problems connected to dwarfism.  Probably
because as the breeds were established some selection was going on for less
problematical individuals.
