My Pyr is a 100 lb young male and although he is
friendly and well-trained, I do remain alert when we
are out walking that he doesn't decide to take off
after something, like another dog. For this reason, I
have been walking him using a prong collar. My only
issue with the prong collar is that it sometimes comes
off because the links come apart.
