Yea, what is this....."blowing their coat?"  Is this a process any different
than shedding?  Is this an equivalent to reptiles shedding their skin?  I'm
getting this impression of my dog, after blowing his coat...looking bald or
something - heh heh.

Our vet microchipped all of our dogs.  It's a quick and painless procedure 
(just like getting a shot).  I believe the cost was around $30.  The 
registering with the AKC I think was another $25.
