This is why I don't mind paying the extra fee--I know there's more
cleaning after we've been in a room even overnight, just because of the
hair, and we usually leave a more generous tip. We haven't yet been
anywhere where we've stayed more than overnight, so haven't run into the
issue of maids being afraid to enter the room.
