[pyrnet] alpha position

I have a question I hope you may be able to help me with.Noel as been
approaching Shadow and coming up along side of him her posture is very stiff
legged and her neck seem so be held higher.Then she will jump on his back
and try to bite his neck .Is she trying to challenge him for the alpha
position?I also notice after this shadow will get really tough with her and
knock her down.I try to stay out of it but sometimes I have to intervene for
fear that he is going to hurt her.I have never owed Two dogs at once before
and this is my first female ever.I would appreciate any advice on this
situation I dont want either one of them to get hurt           Peggy
