[pyrnet] The Pyrenean Journal

Dear List members,

This is an unpaid political announcement ;-).

I had to baby-sit my office last night, and after doing some catch up on the paper work,
I took some time out for pleasure. For a number of years I had bookmarked this site:

        http://www.pyrenean-journal.com/Pyrenean_Journal.html

Last night I had the opportunity to explore a piece of it - Patou and Quibbletown.
Fantastic. This web site is an absolute labor of love and it shows. Tears aside, the
power of the Patou adventure extolls the wonderful character of this individual dog,
and reflects marvelously on the Great Pyrenees breed. And the story of the Smiths
and the Quibbletown kennel is a piece of history that might have been lost without
this retelling.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Joe Gentzel publicly for this site. Please visit it
when you have the time to really enjoy it. It transports you to another world and another
time, and it truly is worth whatever time you can spend there.

Thanks Joe,

Carol

Disclaimer: I am not now and have never been affiliated with the Pyrenean Journal, and I expect
to receive no benefit, financial or otherwise, from my recommendation of this site. However
if Joe wants to transport a litter brother of Janet and Joan's puppy bitch back to NJ next time
he travels to France, I could be convinced to take delivery of said puppy <vbg>.
