Thanks so much for the advice.

we will start getting estimates next week and see just what we --and how 
much--we can afford.

Both my dogs are micro chipped and I really believe in that! My male was lost 
for 6 weeks about 5 years ago and we thought we would NEVER see him again. It 
was a miracle we got him back. After that, he was microchipped!

And over the years I have definetely changed my thinking on just how much 
freedom these dogs really need to make it safely in this bad old world we 
live in!  I keep them with me about 90 percent of the day!
