RE: [pyrnet] Snow & cold weather

Dear Christine,

Wow, now that is a snow storm! We are in no way expecting anything like you
are going through but the temps are dropping and last I heard it will be in
the 20's by tonight. Sounds as if you have already battened down the
hatches, taken your nap, drunk the hot chocolate...but I think it will take
lots of naps and hot chocolate before yours is over with (grin).

Happy winter

Thea

Funny thing that you should mention snow! If you would like some snow just
come up to Iowa (if you can get here <g>), we are getting pounded with a
major winter storm. The wind chill is -35 and we are forecasted to get 7 -
10 inches of snow. Everything in Cedar Rapids is shut down and even my
heated water buckets are not keeping up with the cold & blowing snow. The
dogs look like snow monsters, they have ice & snow hanging off all of their
whiskers! Of course they are still going out in the beautiful (if you are a
Pyrenees) weather, but they are choosing to stay in the kennel building most
of the time.

Stay warm & batten down your hatches if you are in the line of this storm!
Of course if the storm is already there - just make yourself some hot
chocolate & take a nap -- maybe it will be all over when you wake up :-)
