Any descendant of any *known* carrier has a 50% chance of being a carrier.
Even 8, 10 or forever generations later.  That's just the way that the
statistics work.  And one reason that the statistical risk to any given
individual cannot be diluted or reduced  by breeding to non-carriers.  The
25 % probability applies in reverse.  Any grandparent of any affected dog
has a 25% chance of being a carrier.  Great grandparents 12.5% etc.  This
presumes that these ancestors are not affected.

These numbers apply *only* to simple recessives.
