Re: [pyrnet] New Puppy (sorry Long)

Sorry Carri and Sissy good thing Barb is here to straighten me out.Carri I
have little to no tolerance for ignorant people when it comes to
animals.Your doing the right thing by your children they learn respect for
animals and other people I once had a lady come to my home to see my male
pyr because she wanted to purchase a female from the breeder I got my male
from. Told me she did all kinds of research on the breed .I though great
that's a step in the right direction.she and her daughter stayed for about
an hour in the amount of time they were here the child tried to kick my pyr
then was going to try and stick a pencil in his eye while he was sleeping
the mother did nothing to try and stop her.I let out a bellow that could be
hear from here to California and asked them to leave. Then I called the
breeder and told her not to sell them a dog I explained the women was
expecting the pup to come potty trained and I could just see the little girl
being cruel and eventually the pup biting her and ending up in a shelter or
being put down because of the ignorance of the mother not teaching her any
better.Where fencing is concerned I cant help you out there my chowder head
husband is still fighting me on putting one up so I'm thinking I will just
go ahead and have one installed.Stick to your Guns and just tell those
people off.Good Luck
Oh and Sissy the other posteing Where i thought you were Carri please hold
off just a few weeks till the pup is a little older before bringing it home
it's worth the little extra time it will stay with its litter mates and you
will have a life time of joy with it .Bye Good Luck
