Re: [pyrnet] Re:Question on Foods(Diamond)??

well, again, my vet/boss said that he prefers science diet or nutro b/c of the consistancy of the products put into the food.  most others aren't consistant in the quality of ingredients and get cheap if they can, and he's found that those two are the most consistant in the ingredients.  how he knows this, i haven't a clue :-) but i'd trust MY life with him, so i definately trust my "children's" lives and his advice.  i've just seen him correct too many other vets mistakes.  anyone else ever heard anything like that about the consistancy thing?

Subject: [pyrnet] Re:Question on Foods(Diamond)??

I've fed lams large breed puppy until 18 months, then switched to large
breed adult.  At one point I was looking to put some weight on Bella after an
illness, and someone on pyrnet suggested Bil-Jack, which I must say worked
great. I am considering Diamond, the owner of the pet store I buy from said
he would put it a step above Iams, and just below Euchanuba in quality. If
anyone has any input on Diamond, I would appreciate it.   Charlie

Have someone who contacted me re dog food for their Pyr. I've
given them my usual recommendations, but they are looking for
more info. I wonder if you all could help me out? What did you
feed your Pyrs and what did you switch to, if you did switch. If
on puppy food, at what age did you start on adult food? etc. TIA.
