Elaine, I loved the rubber snake in the mailbox, what a hoot!  My kids
used to put live snakes in the strawberry beds, because they knew their
Dad was afraid of them. 
Poor Bob, every so often we would hear a bellow of surprise coming from
the garden area.  To his credit he would walk by with a snake over a rake
and take them and put them out in the field to go on their merry way!
