[pyrnet] Pyrs!

Yesterday, I went for walk up to where we keep the horses. Two of the
Pyrs accompanied me and I told the rest I'd take them another time. (These
two are better off lead than the rest.) On our way up I kept switching the
lead to one or the other letting each take a run by themselves. My five
year old daughter was also with us so once we got to the shed where we feed
the horses, I left one whilst the other, my daughter and I went to the
meadow. After trudging through the mud a little ways, I saw a flash of
white and asked Justice if that was Moses that just went by. Up popped the
head and Rajah, our ever surprising Hudini, was covered in mud smiling
enormously. I really don't know how she knew where we were as this meadow
is a ways down the road from our house and way up a hill. I swear she
understood every word I said. :) Of course, later a friend of mine pointed
out that she thought Raj came to me like I had radar (she usually never
wants to come when she gets out) because maybe she got a sense for the "wild
cat" that we've been having around. Not a pleasant thought.
I have to say that even though it was a bit of a struggle getting all
the "kids" home, I had to laugh at the thought that Raj just was not about
to be left out....and....feel grateful that she did come in case something
was up there. The two who were with me are relatively young and the oldest
was in the hay shed (while we went a little farther to get the horses so
that I didn't have to try and handle the horses, Justice and two dogs trying
to run off together). Raj is the oldest of all my guys at the moment and at
six this April 4th has proven herself many times.
So I just don't know, did she come strait to us just to hang out or did
she come to help us? Just had to share this. If you knew her, you'd know
how amazing it was for her to seek us out and be totally out of breath from
trying to catch up. :)

Later! :)
