Maybe we should all call that #, and make them think about what they have done. Give them a little information in the mail maybe.
Along the lines of... Hi, I just read your add in the paper, and I wanted to come out and look at your pups. Get their address, and then send them information. Or just call and give them an earful. They made the announcement public by putting it in the paper. You can put information in the paper too. Reply publicly... put a link in the same paper to a site that give information about breeding animals that way. Or make one :o)
I  was not an aware person of breeding; however, since I have been on this list I am. I had the same mentality of the people who bred these pups. It's okay, and aren't they just adorable. I never bred. I pick up all my animals from the pound, or from rescue. I believe in taking care of what has already been born into this world, and has no choice of how it was made.
I had an instructor once that said, "If you sit there and say, or do nothing about something that bothers you...then you are accepting what is happening". 
Most of us are scared of a confrontation, so we don't speak up. It's okay if there is a confrontation, so what if they get upset at what you are saying. And who knows there may never be a confrontation at all. One knever knows until one tries.  At lest you stood up for what you believe. And isn't that what makes America...America? Maybe, just maybe, they will hear some of what you are saying. And stop.
