    We, too, have had Pys that just love to splash...it even seems to be hereditary (coming down from grandparents, to parents, to pups).  We also have food spillers and dogs that will pick up bowls and toss them on top of their heads like hats.  We have had "fairly" good luck by raising the bowls either in a raised stand or by hanging buckets from fences.

That may be "her" way of cooling off.  My Aussie does the same thing (with
dirty feet, of course) after a hard play outside.  I think it is pretty
intelligent of them to be able to figure out that, aside from drinking, they
can bring their temp down by submersing their pads in cool water.  Why they
have to do it just after you have washed the floor is another matter...
