Did this happen in the winter?  Its called snow nose if it is and snow has
little or nothing to do with it.  The amount of daylight may have something
to do with it.  Not the best to have light or fading pigment on the nose,
eyerims  or mouth edges.  It would be a fault.  But there is no perfect dog.  
All dogs are good or bad according to the sum of  their parts and how they
fit together.
