Re: [pyrnet] Close call

Well, Stephanie, we can all wish they'd learn. One would think, that after Bo's terrible experience last summer when he got out due to the gate being left open, that my son would have learned to close and latch gates. Not so. Just this past weekend I found the gate WIDE OPEN twice! I've already lost one Pyr to getting hit by a car due to my husband's negligence (she was an escape artist, lived with him, and he did not watch her when she was out, she got through the fence and was hit by a speeding car) and darn near lost Bo last July due to the extreme heat when he went walkabout. One would think the fact that I darn near had a nervous breakdown over the fact my heart dog was lost and might have been dead, would have made at least a small lasting impression on his brain?
