Yes, the subject is definitely an important one. I agree. Unfortunately it is a highly emotional subject as well. It is one subject and cause that is near and dear to my heart. I quite clearly remember being the newbie in Rescue that thought she could "change the world"! <G> I have also become wiser with each new dog I become involved with. I understand, all too well, both sides of this debate. Which is why I believe the human nature factor is a very integral part of the Rescue/Rescuer equation.
