   Has anyone received a warning on  garden or tree mulch that is very
poison to dogs?

   I was a warnng not to buy mulch that contains bark from
cocoa trees.

   The stuff is being sold by Home Depot and other large stores and is
reported to have killed numerous dogs.  They like the taste of it.
The lethal ingredient is Theobromine.
   Someone whose dog died from it saw the warning, which she says was
verilfied by her vet.
