Of all the Pyrs I've know, I don't think anyone has had a problem with
catching dew claws.  About a month ago, our oldest female, Kes, did
something to the single dewclaw on her left front foot.  Somehow the nail
got cracked.  Don't know where she could have caught it, but it didn't seem
to bother her too much.  I checked on it just the other day, and the end of
the nail has come off where it broke, but the remainder of the nail seemed
to be doing fine.
