It's a good idea to keep your kennels padlocked, but I've learned that locks only keep out honest people. I just can't imagine my dogs letting someone come onto our property to steal them. Of course, I really don't know how they would react to a stranger entering their pen while we're not around. I don't think the dogs would take too kindly to that.
