Sue, Welcome to the Pyr-List. I recently lost my 10.5 year Pyr, Paddy, to cancer of the spleen. I can only say that after Paddy reached about age 9 I noticed several changes. Fortunately, he never lost control of his functions. I would suggest that you consult a veterinarian that specializes in geriatric canines. Happy New Year to you and Sirius.
