[pyrnet] Worms and so forth
Duh. Y'know, for some reason, I didn't even THINK of worms. We had him
wormed right after we got him (as I told you, and he was FULL of 3 kinds)
and that was 7 months ago. However, doesn't it seem like if he had worms,
he'd be eating MORE? Especially tapeworms. But I think I'll watch him a
couple of days and check his stools first...and maybe change his food to
see if his appetite improves? Do you think the food change is a good or bad
idea at this point? I always hate to change foods on dogs because you
always risk causing diarrhea. I was thinking of taking him in for a vet
check in a week or so anyway (this week it's not really convenient,
financially...REALLY short payday) as I suspect he just MAY have ear mites
again. I bought some over-the-counter Lambert Kay Ear Rite Ear Wash at the
feed store and thought I'd use it a week or so first to see if it helped.
Does anyone know if that's is any good? I've never used it before. The
poor baby was in such awful shape when we got him, I've tried very hard to
keep him healthy. I just hate it when people let their animals get in that
kind of condition--as with Hope and Freedom. But then again, those are
probably the same kind of people who let their KIDS get that way, too.
Thanks.
