[pyrnet] Newman, worms and food
With a belly full of worms, the dog
does not feel hungry. What
type of HW prevention are you using? Loss of appetite can and
does occur with worm infestation. Whip and Hooks can be lethal
over time.

I checked Newman's stool this morning as soon as he went and found no
trace of anything suspicious. I'll check again tomorrow. I took him over
to PetSmart and weighed him and he'd gained back 3 lbs of the six he'd
lost (which is good). I figured I'd get some samples of food and see
which he liked, and they were giving away sample 8 lb bags of Pro Plan,
so I tried that and mixed it with what was left of his other food. He ate
it all immediately. So at this point, I think he was simply tired of his
food, but I'm going to continue watching him just in case. As for
HW preventative, he's been on Revolution since he was 8 weeks old. I was
told that it is SUPPOSED to protect against HW, fleas, AND ear mites.
True?
BTW, he was a VERY good boy while we were out. I was proud of him. I get
tickled when I take him to PetSmart. This one guy who works there just
adores Newman. Every time we go and Jason is there, he comes over and
hugs Newman and says, "Oh! The Newmanator is here!" LOL.
