Re: [pyrnet] Musical Pyrs
Sam loved to listen to my father play the piano. He would sit out on the
porch behind the piano bench and just lay, relaxed as can be, for the entire
time Dad played. Even if someone came to the door while Dad was playing,
Sam didn't move.
Now, sometimes when I go visiting him and play a little bit, he comes out to
the porch and looks around. Then he'll whine at me, and go back into the
kitchen--because he's looking for Dad and knows I'm not Dad, or because I
just don't play as well (and I really don't *g*) I don't know.

By the way, I have a question for you guys. My hubby is a musician and plays
several instruments. He's recently taken up the Bass, and we have found that
Newman LOVES the bass! Every time Larry gets it out and starts playing, with
the first chords, Newman comes running from wherever he is, even if he's
outside, and immediately lays down right against the bass. As soon as Larry
stops playing, Newman gets up, shakes himself, and walks off to go back to
whatever he was doing before Larry started playing. Larry told some of his
musician friends about it, and found that ALL the bass players said their
dogs do the exact same thing! Newman isn't interested in the acoustic
guitar, the harmonica, or the keyboard. Only the bass. It's very weird.
