If any one is interested in making their own dog food, this recipe was given
to me by a friend who  feeds her dogs  mostly this. She goes to a vet who
prefers a more holistic approach and he has approved it.  However,  you
should certainly get your own vet's approval.  I use this recipe sometimes
and the dogs love it.  Sad to say, I tend to be somewhat lazy about cooking
(even for people!) and don't make it as much as I should.     Susan, Jasmine

KELSEA & KILTIE'S MEATLOAF FOR DOGS

3 lbs ground turkey, chicken or beef
3 cups rolled oats
1 can evaporated milk
2 cups grated carrot
1 can green beans (19 oz)
1 can diced tomatoes (28 oz)
2 eggs
garlic (2 cloves)

Soak oats/milk 1/2 hour.  Mix all other ingredients.  Bake at 350 for 1 hour
in an 8" x 13" pan.
