I thought I got the pixies to move it to my sisters place! Durn pixies. It
has been interesting introducing the kitten (who now goes by the name of
Twistie - or Twisted Kittie as one of my friends calls her) to the dogs. My
dogs have never been around cats except to chase off the property. The Pyrs
have all taken to her very quickly and Twistie loves to smooch and play
around their legs. Halley and Lisa Jane were not sure what to make of her
at first. They stood in the middle of the room looking stunned while this
little furball zoomed around them LOL! She has developed quite a
relationship with Milou. I think Milou has decided it is HER kitty. I was
watching them the other day and Twistie was mimicking her! Milou would lie
down, then kitty would lie down facing her in the same position. Then Milou
would flop her head back on the ground and kitty would do the same. Milou
would sit up and kitty would follow suit. It was fascinating to watch this
kitten not much bigger than a paw playing Simon Says. My problem child is
my Dalmatian, Cookie. She has a very high prey drive (and the reason I dont
have cats as a rule!). Not sure if I will ever get them to cohabit
appropriately although we are making small steps forward.
