RE: [pyrnet] Rainy days & muddy dogs
We've had rain on and off since Sunday morning, and with the new house (yes, we now have the final approval to move in and are beginning the long task of carting everything from the old house to the new one next door) we are trying to keep it half-way presentable for at least the first month! So far, only Zoe has the honour of staying inside. Fortunately we have tile floors in most of the ground floor rooms, so even the muddy foot prints have been easy to wipe up. She's even getting use to standing while I wipe the excess mud off her feet. Our neighbor has a lawn business, and he has offered to do the labour (as a "house warming" present) if we provide the materials. So, in the next couple of weeks we hope to have the lawn leveled, seed planted, and more importantly a VERY thick layer of mulch around the house to help keep the mud from being tracked into the house. I know we certainly need the rain -- just wish it would be able to rain "selectively" -- in other words anywhere but in the area between the house and the dog kennels <VBG>.
