Re: [pyrnet] Rainy days & muddy dogs
Hi Jess,
I had to laugh when I read your post. My Mandy is
exactly the same way as Sam when it comes to rain. She
is very annoyed by it. We go out the door for our walk
and she stops and gives me this look, like maybe I am
somehow responsible for it. She hates to get her feet
wet so she tries to avoid puddles. But, when the rain
is in its colder form of *snow*, there isn't a happier
dog around. Mandy can't wait to roll in it and make
doggie snow angels while burrowing her head upside
down in it. She gets up, shakes, and then does it
again. I love to let her run in it, but sometimes it
is hard keeping up with her (depending on how deep)
while holding on to the leash. She is very sad when
the walk is over. I think the love of snow is in their
blood.
