Kelly, spayed bitches hold coat because they don't shed out after
coming in season. So, the coat tends to get longer and more full.
If she was not spayed, she'd do a complete coat blow at least
twice a year. Showing a bitch can be a real challenge. With Chel,
we used to say that she was "in coat" for 3 days a year. And
there were never any shows on those 3 days! <VBG>
