With Jasmine, she had most of her adolescent problems at about 8 months.
With Seamus it was around 1 1/2, so I guess it varies.  I know they are not
really considered adults until around 3 (especially the males!!!) I have
found a book by Carol Lea Benjamin called "Surviving Your Dog's
Adolescence"to be very helpful.
