Re: [pyrnet] food

I believe in feeding a good large breed puppy food for the first 12-16 months. From what I've read on nutrition, you want one with a guaranteed (not crude) low calcium analysis to limit growth spurts that can lead to abnormal joint development. I would recommend this over an adult food as well, for the same reasons. The best one that I've found is Premium edge, which is Diamond's top line product. I currently feed Bil-Jac to my dogs, but they don't make a large breed puppy formula.

So, what type or brand of food does everyone feed their pyr's?  Both as
an infant and as an adult.  My sister in law told me to stay away from
puppy food when my pry was an infant because it causes them to grow to
fast?  Anyone hear of this?
