Thanks for the information Tracy.  I will enjoy not having to cook this.  Angel has been getting a cooked chicken liver daily.  NOT a fun thing to smell first thing in the morning!

Mine were started as soon as they arrived from about 8 weeks of age (or
whatever age they arrived). Many however, wean onto a raw diet starting the
pups on things like chicken necks wings and backs to work on from about age
5 to 6 weeks of age.

I run several email lists, one for breeders who feed and wean to raw.....

Even toy breeds can start with bones like chicken necks from weaning age
without issue. A dog such as a Pyr with such big powerful jaws has
absolutely no problems.
