<< I'd like to ask, how old were yours Prys before you gave them the bones
or other raw "tidbits"?>> Cat
Mine were started as soon as they arrived from about 8 weeks of age (or
whatever age they arrived). Many however, wean onto a raw diet starting the
pups on things like chicken necks wings and backs to work on from about age
5 to 6 weeks of age.
I run several email lists, one for breeders who feed and wean to raw.....
www.yahoogroups.com/groups/rawbreeder
......and one for Pyr owners who feed a raw diet:

Even toy breeds can start with bones like chicken necks from weaning age
without issue. A dog such as a Pyr with such big powerful jaws has
absolutely no problems.
