Re: [pyrnet] Jasmine

About $5,000, give or take a bit, depending on how much the dog weighs.

Just out of curiosity, what are the costs?

Subject: [pyrnet] Jasmine

Last August Jasmine was diagnosed with Lymphoma.  She is only 5 so we decided to go with the chemo.  I'm pleased to say she is now in remission. When diagnosed she was down to 93 lbs and is now up to 112 lbs,  she is acting like she's 14 months old again (playful, mischievous, and just as naughty!) and looks wonderfull except for her formerly luscious tail is now a little rat tail.  But that is a small price to pay!
During her treatment she has only had one bad reaction (to Vinchristine) and that was her second treatment.
If we had not gone with the chemo, she would certainly have been dead by mid September.  For anyone with a pyr with lymphoma I'd say don't worry about side effects....go for the treatment if you can find the money!
