Re: [pyrnet] Anal gland issues

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has advice on dealing with
recurring anal gland issues in pyrs (or other dogs).

For the last 5 months or so, our boy has been going to
the vet to have them "expressed," (love that word)
about once a month. He absolutely HATES it and each
time we go, it gets tougher and tougher to get him
through the door!

We're hoping there is some natural remedy that might
aleviate this problem - like putting something in/on
his food, a different diet altogether, using hot
compresses, or a suppliment? Any suggestions?

Also, I'm curious what others feed their pyrs. Ours is
on Wellness whitefish and sweet potato now (best
allergy formula we've been able to find so far).

Thanks in advance for your help,
Pip, Tanna, Dirk
