[pyrnet] CHAT: My special girl is gone

Halley passed away today.
.
She left me peacefully in her sleep, curled in her favourite hole in her
yard. She was a happy girl when I left her to go to work thismorning.  I
left her with a hug, a pat and a few special treats.  I still wish I had
been with her though.

A few weeks ago she was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy and while I
knew we were on borrowed time, it doesn't make her passing any easier.

I am going to miss her pokeing me awake with her nose in the morning and
scratching at the door to go out.  I am going to miss her sitting on the
verandah 'bliss' woofing to the world, her head thrown back and her eyes
closed.  I am going to miss her pawing me for pats and giving me the high
five.

Sleep well Huggey, my special Bear.  We will miss you terribly.
