My Pyr used to bolt out of the door, and still will every now and again. I've worked with her forever on this. She now knows she isn't getting out the door until she sits, stays, and then is released with the OK command. Every time she goes in or out the door we do this. But, if someone (my dh) just stands there with the door open, she'll look at him and then bolt out the door.
