Congrats on your new puppy!

If he is only 10 weeks old, he is just a baby and you need to be very aware
of what he is doing at all times. If you see him walking around in circles
with his nose to the ground, take him out. Also take him out as soon as you
feed of water him, as soon as he wakes up from a nap and after he has been
playing. If you are not with him watching him, he should be in his crate.
You don't want him getting used to messing in the house.

When you take him outside, use a word or phrase that is comfortable for you
to say in public (I use "Hurry Up") and repeat the phrase until he has
eliminated. After he has, make sure that you praise him.

You might want to invest in a good puppy book - go to the library and look
through a couple.
