I'm fairly new to this Pyr stuff myself but from what I have heard, aside from brushing an undercoat rake helps get the undercoat out.  I've started adding about a tablespoon of cottage cheese to our Seejay's food twice a day but I've also heard that Flaxseed oil sprinkled on food helps the coat as does a quality dog food.  I feed Wellness Lamb.  Seejay is about 4 1/2 months old now and he doesn't really ever bark unless he's left alone which is only when I have to run to the store or something.  He's spoiled rotten already!  His only job is to be a good friend to our son and get lots of hugs so he's inside all the time.
