I have the same problem with my laminate floors. If Cody doesn't think about it, he walks and runs around the house without any problems. But, if he remembers that it is a floor and not carpet, he won't budge. Although, he seems to think it is safe to walk backwards on the floor. If he can't go backwards, he crawls on his belly - it is hillarious. He also still will not go up and down stairs.
