Hi! I am new to your list and know a little about deafness & white as my first breed is Dalmatians. Just to throw another thought out... we have what we call uni's. All well bred litters are BAER tested and some pups are deaf in only one ear. They are our uni's... unilateral deaf or unilateral hearing. These dogs are unable to localize a sound, they cannot determine which direction a noise originated. Denise
