Re: [pyrnet] Skin Problems
Everyone's giving great suggestions.....it just brought to mind back when we had to shave Cotton.
She'd come during winter and was from a cool area, Sweden. Not long after showing in the 2001 National, she apparently had a "reaction" to WV's warm/moist summers and got hotspots everywhere. Vet said shave her down and treat her spots. She lived with her co-owner, Jennifer Robbins, at the time and Jen said one day they went to a local flea market where someone asked if Cotton was a Poodle.....she had "socks" left from the shaving.
Jen said Cotton just looked at the lady like "oh please".
Hope the rescue boy gets better. It did take Cotton a while to get her fur back. Couldn't show her for about six months, then she got her first point! :-D
