RE: [pyrnet] Pyr feeding and nutrition

Hello all,

I want to thank all of you for your comments and assistance.

Joy keeps giving me this look that translates to "Feed Me I Am Yours" but then turns her nose up at everything I do give her.  I have tried raw because she was started out on raw.  However, it is a very unbalanced diet for her since she does not consider veggies edible.  We have been through Eagle Pack (multiple varieties), Eukanuba, Nutro, Pinnacle and Merrick to name just a few.  She does eat frozen green tripe - at least some of the time.
I know that she has won all the past feeding battles but this must change!!   The only plus in this situation is that the shelter dogs and my friend's dogs are eating better since they receive her rejects!!

Thank you all so much!!

Sandy

Subject: [pyrnet] Pyr feeding and nutrition

Hello,
I really love this topic and have done quite a bit of research on it.  I have a website devoted for Pyr nutrition, it can be found at http://www.sdk-weber.com (just click on Dog Nutrition).

Romy, our 3 (almost 4) year old, is quite picky.  He eats his maintenance level and that is all.  He does not overeat.  Julie (7 months) eats as much as she can get so free feeding is not an option with her.  She eats well and actually both are on adult "Natural Balance" right now (she was just switched over the past week from Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy).  Frankly I have not found a commerical adult dog chow better than Natural Balance though BilJac and Canidae are quite good as well.
