Oh, dear. Eliza's journey over the rainbow bridge brought tears to my
eyes. The very hardest thing about having dogs is their short lives and
the good-byes! One of my little min pin guys, Chaz, developed Addison's
disease. His course was much longer. Over a year but he lost his
beautiful little shape to the bloating and lost the hair on his legs.
Finally, we just had to have him put to sleep when his energy was just totally
depleted and he couldn't go any longer.
You have my deepest sympathy. Nine years is so young. Is that
usual with Pyrs. I now have two.........one five and one two (both
rescues). The thought of losing them at nine just crushes me. Have
gotten used to the longer lived small dogs.
((HUGS))............my best to you! Your Eliza was blessed to have
such a stalwart and caring friend as you!
